Power-Quinn English

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Power-Quinn English! We are Sinéad and Keith, owners of Power-Quinn English. Sinéad is from Wexford in the South East of Ireland and Keith is from Donegal in the North West of Ireland. We have been married since 2012 and we have four beautiful children together. We moved to Northern Ireland in 2016 and have made Bleary our home.

We love travelling and meeting people from all over the world. We have already welcomed guests from France, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Lithuania, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Austria and Russia and we look forward to welcoming other nationalities also.

Sinéad Power-Quinn

I am Sinéad and I have been a teacher for over twenty years teaching in Ireland and the UK. I have experience teaching at Primary School, Secondary/High School and University and in Private Language Schools. I have taught English at every level from Beginner A1 to Advanced C1, General English, Business English, English for Specific Purposes, English for Teachers and Professors, English for Policing and Law Enforcement, English for Health Care Workers, English Language Support for Secondary/High school students and university exchange students, Irish Culture Courses, Cambridge B1 Preliminary preparation, Cambridge First B2 preparation, Cambridge C1 Advanced preparation, IELTS preparation and TOEFL preparation.

Keith Quinn

I am Keith. I have had a rich and varied career in many sectors including the Financial Services, Customer Services, Teaching Swim Safety Programmes, Delivering Manual Handling and Accredited First Aid Courses and I also worked as an Operations Manager in a global call centre. I love travelling and meeting people from other countries and therefore, decided a number of years ago to become an EFL teacher. I teach specific courses, especially Employment related English, such as ‘English for Customer Services’, ‘English for the workplace’ and ‘Interview preparation skills’. I also do role-play job interviews with feedback to enable you to feel confident in a job interview in English.
